Developer and publisher FuturLab has announced the first piece of crossover DLC making its way to cleaning sim PowerWash Simulator 2 next year, and it’s a beloved animated series’ time to shine.
As announced in a news post on Steam, Adventure Time will serve as the basis for PowerWash Simulator 2‘s first collaborative DLC pack, and it’ll arrive across all platforms in spring 2026.
This inaugural crossover DLC will follow on from collaborations like Wallace & Gromit, Warhammer 40k, and Back to the Future, all of which made their way to PowerWash Simulator 2‘s predecessor as part of its fleet of paid expansions, so this is a very rich tradition indeed.
FuturLab is promising “five fan-favorite Adventure Time locations” to clean with PowerWash Simulator 2‘s expanded suite of cleaning tools. This is just the first crossover DLC for the game, too; the developer has confirmed that at least two more will follow as part of the game’s 2026 roadmap, and a number of free new jobs will accompany the packs as well.
If you’re unfamiliar with PowerWash Simulator 2, it is, believe it or not, the sequel to the 2022 cleaning sim PowerWash Simulator. The followup offers much the same cathartic powerwashing action of its predecessor, but brings a host of new tools and gameplay systems to get to grips with as well.
These include a new adaptable nozzle, a scissor lift for cleaning harder-to-reach areas, and a new dirt-finding system that alerts you to areas yet to be cleaned when you’ve mopped up most of a map.
If you’ve yet to be swept up in the PowerWash Simulator 2 insanity, you can check the game out right now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, and you can read our very own Ashleigh’s review of the game right here.
