BitCraft Online brings wintry decorations, snow, and other updates in the Midwinter Begins patch

Technically speaking, we’re only just starting the winter season, but what are calendars to MMORPGs other than vague suggestions – as well as rationale to hold seasonal events? So it goes with early access sandbox MMO BitCraft Online, which has introduced some frosty feelings in its Midwinter Begins update.

The new patch has introduced snow to various areas of the game’s world, as well as snow piles that have blown in, which can be used as gathering points to obtain snow (surprising, we know) that can then be utilized to create a variety of seasonal decorations. The midwinter theme is also extended into the cash shop, which features sweaters, beanie hats, and a husky puppy pet.

Beyond the thematic decor items available during midwinter, the patch has also spawned various ancient ruins that hold containers full of goodies to pillage, added multiple craftable items and tasks for various upper tiers of progression, several foliage updates to the game world, and a wide assortment of fixes. Of course, the bigger addition is the fact that players can now answer in the affirmative if they’re asked if they want to build a snowman.
