AdHoc Studio has announced the Dispatch Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 release date for the critically-acclaimed superhero narrative adventure game.
The game — which was developed by a team of alums from studios like Telltale Games, Ubisoft, and Night School Studio — has seen solid success on both PlayStation 5 and PC, so it makes sense that it would release sooner rather than later on Nintendo’s two consoles. It’ll debut on both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on January 28, 2026, with a free Switch 2 update being available for people who buy it on Switch. The Switch 2 version has up to 60fps and 1440p resolution, while the original Switch has 30fps and 720p.
If that wasn’t enough, the game is also part of the Steam Winter Sale, which began today, and will be part of the PlayStation Store’s holiday promotions when they begin on December 22. On both stores, Dispatch will be 10% off.

What did MonsterVine think of Dispatch?
We reviewed Dispatch just last month, and had some pretty positive things to say about the title. One of our excerpts said:
“Dispatch is a great adventure game that effectively uses and plays with superhero tropes to craft a memorable narrative, led by excellent performances. A couple of the choice-based outcomes are a bit confusing, but that isn’t enough to derail this strong title from hitting most of its targets.“
