While Irish Album Chart records don’t extend back to ABBA’s heyday in the 1970s and early 1980s, the band can celebrate full domination of this week’s Official Irish Charts. Their greatest hits Gold places at Number 6 this week, extending its run in the Top 50, where it has featured every week since our Official Chart records began in Week 1 2017.
On the Irish Singles Chart ABBA land three entries from Voyage: Don’t Shut Me Down at 39, When You Danced With Me at 43, and I Still Have Faith In You at 47.

Elsewhere, last week’s chart-topper, Ed Sheeran’s Equals, drops to 2, while Radiohead enter at Number 3 with Kid A Mnesia – a reissue of their chart-topping albums Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001).
James Arthur also makes a strong debut this week – It’ll All Make Sense In The End earns the British artist his fourth consecutive Top 10 record.
Further down, Summer Walker’s second album Still Over It enters at Number 22, and Taylor Swift’s Red re-enters at Number 27 in anticipation of its new ‘Taylor’s Version’, released today.
